If you are coming by train, NJP is the nearest station. After onboarding at NJP, you have to book a cab and head towards your destination. The route via Mirik Road is about 70-75 km long; another alternative route is via Kurseong and Sonada. Both routes share about equal distances, with unique and different experiences.

Darjeeling to Lepcha Jagat:

The distance from Darjeeling to Lepcha Jagat is about 30 to 35 kilometers, and the journey takes roughly 1.5 to 2 hours by road, depending on traffic and road conditions. After reaching Ghoom station, you must turn right and drive on Rishi Road. The route is scenic, passing through lush forests.
